FIELD: traumatology and orthopedics. SUBSTANCE: when conducting conservative treatment of shin bone fractures, ankle fragments are reposed under anesthesia using plaster-circular bandage put onto "shin-foot" region not covering toes and knee joint. Bandage is step-by-step shortened to the level of ankle-joint and leaving free foot joints for functional movements in the course of treatment and prophylaxis of their rigidity. EFFECT: avoided rigidity of foot and ankle joints when immobilizing "shin-foot" bone segment.
