FIELD: chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: 2,5-dihydrofuran is synthesized by butadiene monooxide rearrangement in the presence of catalytical system consisting of zinc halide, solvent and iodine-containing compound. Lithium iodide crystal hydrate of the formula LiJ•H2O in combination with N-methylpyrrolidone is used as iodine-containing compound. Reaction is carried out at 100-130 C under pressure 0.1-0.5 MPa. Reagents were used at the following amounts, %: LiJ•H2O 5-35; zinc halide 4-18, and N-methylpyrrolidone 135-450 per loaded butadiene monooxide. EFFECT: improved method of synthesis. 2 cl, 1 tbl
