FIELD: fat-and-oil industry. SUBSTANCE: in a method of refining vegetable oils including hydration with separating phosphatide emulsion, treatment of hydrated oil with aqueous alkali and sodium chloride aqueous solution in amount 1-2% based on oil weight, and drying, above-named treatment is performed consecutively at 20-30 C, concentration of alkali solution being 50 to 150 g/l and treatment with alkali being conducted with alkali amount constituting 15-25% of theoretically required amount to neutralize free fatty acids. Oil is separated from formed acidic soaps on thin- layer settler. EFFECT: enhanced refinement efficiency. 4 tbl
