FIELD: fat-and-oil industry. SUBSTANCE: vegetable oil after hydration and separation of phospholipid emulsion is treated by aqueous solutions of phosphoric acid and sodium silicate to form silicic acid gel, the latter being then separated from refined oil together with adsorbed waxes. Invention is distinguished by that, before separation, oil-silicic acid mixture is exposed to magnetic field with induction 0.3-0.35 Tl for 5-10 min and separation is carried out in thin layer (10-20 mm) at stream speed 6-15 mm/s. EFFECT: increased completeness of removing wax-like substances, non-hydrated phospholipids, non- hydrolyzed lipids, and oxidation products. 4 tbl
