FIELD: fat-and-oil industry. SUBSTANCE: phospholipids, wax-like substances and dye-stuffs are removed from oils and fats by treating them at 20-30 C with 5.0-10.0-% aqueous solution of citric acid in amount of 0.5-1.5% based on the weight of oil or fat. Resulting oil(fat)-precipitate mixture is treated in constant magnetic field with intensity 0.7-2 Tl. Precipitate is then separated in layer 20-40 mm thick at flow velocity 4.0-6.0 mm/s or in centrifugal force field.
