FIELD: oil and fat processing industry; purification of vegetable oils. SUBSTANCE: oils are affected by hydration, thus phospholipid emulsion being separated. Then treatment by aqueous alkaline solution and aqueous solution of sodium chloride are carried out, mixture of oil and soap-wax precipitate thus being prepared. Oil is then separated of said precipitate. Before said separation mixture is processed in direct magnetic field having induction in 0.6-1.2 Tl, the process is followed by exposure within 5-15 min. Oil is separated of soap-wax precipitate in layer having thickness 10-20 mm at stream rate 6-15 mm/s. Thus degree of adsorption of waxes, unsaponified lipids and oxidation products increases. EFFECT: improved efficiency of the method. 4 tbl
