FIELD: production of fireproof and heat-shielding materials with high reflecting power, for instance, in manufacture of clothes for protection from fire, high temperatures and heat-radiation effect. SUBSTANCE: material consists of a layer of metallized coating made of polymer film containing finely divided particles of fireproof and heat-shielding material and nonwoven fibrous base made of mutually-woven partially fibrillated and chaotically oriented in bulk polyparaaramide fibers. Fiber diameter is 12 to 22 mcm and mean statistical length is of 10 to 18 mm. Coating and fibrous base are bound with each other by adhesive layer with particles of polyparaaramide fibers of nonwoven base. EFFECT: higher reliability of protection from fire and high-temperature effect and strength characteristics of the offered material. 1 tbl
