FIELD: separation of finely dispersed mixtures. SUBSTANCE: electromagnetic separator includes magnetic system with electromagnets placed in parallel one another and mounted for alternate connection of rectifier diodes to cathode and anode to form pulsating magnetic field. Separation chamber comprises series of parallel sections and is set with inclination for change of inclination angle. Electromagnets are installed above sections of separation chamber for alternate connection of groups of electromagnets connected to cathode and anode correspondingly to network with orientation of parallel magnetic moments between sections of separation chamber. Cores of electromagnets are interconnected in upper part and have truncated lower part to form gradient magnetic field moving magnetic fraction towards unloading zone. EFFECT: increased percentage of recovery of finely dispersed magnetic material. 3 dwg
