SUBSTANCE: signals control blocks AU-4 using bus 57, which is controlled by microprocessor 55, are converted for distribution of groups of virtual containers of roughly equal size, in particular, TUG-31 and TU-31 (2, 4, 6). Then method involves extraction of additional signals 8/14; 48/16, which are already useless, and assignment to these groups of virtual containers of individual connection field clock match pointer 10/18 and individual additional connection field data 12/20 for generation of single connection field input signals D39, D52. Then method involves arrangement in connection field, use and estimation of connection field clock match pointer and additional data from output signals of connection field. Then they (D39, D52) are subjected to multiplexing for generation of STM-1 signals. EFFECT: simultaneous processing of data blocks of different multiplex structure in crossover. 9 cl, 7 dwg
