FIELD: radioactive alloys. SUBSTANCE: alloy based on uranium, commonly superenriched U235, and other metal components is treated by way of fluoridation followed by distilling prepared fluoride mixture to give substantially pure uranium hexafluoride which is further separated from impurities. Fluoridation is carried out with fluorine-containing gas to produce gaseous mixture of fluorides containing uranium fluorides and other components including metal oxyfluorides. According to invention, pure hexafluoride of superenriched uranium obtained after distillation in liquid and gaseous state is mixed with hexafluoride of less enriched uranium in proportion providing desired isotope content. Fluoridation may also be performed in two steps: first with fluorine compounds, for example, HF and VF6 to form UF4 and then with fluorine-based gas. EFFECT: improved procedure. 12 cl, 2 dwg
