FIELD: armored vehicles; electrical equipment. SUBSTANCE: thyratron motor is used as starter generator in tank electric starting and consumer supply system. Motor has three-phase synchronous induction machine with built-in rotor position pickup, self-contained inverter and inverter control system. Owing to proposed design of electrical machine (four three-phase generator windings of stator and one three-phase starter winding of stator) and series-connected four storage batteries with grounded middle point, three channels of different voltage levels of DC current (27.5 V and 110 V) are realized with separation of high quality 27.5 V electric energy channel. EFFECT: materially reduced starting currents under starting conditions owing to controlled starting of thyratron motor. 3 cl, 3 dwg
