FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: filter-type silencer mounted at suction end of compressor includes many ring-shaped dampening members 2 and 2a which consist of segments located one after another over perimeter. Base body is made in form of cast monoblock. Dampening segments are located on bearing portion by means of radially cast fins provided with grooves. Filter frame consists of perforated sheet or many detachable halves of perforated sheets interconnected by means of connecting elements. EFFECT: facilitated installation, reduction of number of units, reduced usage of materials, enhanced efficiency of noise suppression even at high-frequency excitation. 9 cl, 4 dwg
