FIELD: industrial power engineering. SUBSTANCE: incident and effective fluxes of radiation from material surface are measured simultaneously at wave length of furnace atmosphere transparency. At the same time, radiation flux getting on laying-lining surface is measured, and material surface temperature sought for is found from system of nonlinear equations.
