FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: invention refers to determination of internal temperature in metallurgical plants which contain gaseous atmosphere, for example air, and are limited by at least two limiting surfaces. Wall of metallurgical plant or material processed in metallurgical plant, for instance, can be first limiting surface and another wall of metallurgical plant can be second limiting surface. Internal temperature of gaseous atmosphere and of first and second limiting surface, if necessary, is determined by measurement of value characterizing temperature of second limiting surface and by measurement of radiation of first limiting surface for three radiation frequencies as minimum.
