FIELD: automation and computer engineering, in particular, interface between analog information source and digital computer. SUBSTANCE: method involves measuring of instantaneous values of current amplitude of each phase signal in same time moments, filtration and normalization of results, arc-sine function calculation of normalized filtered values in right angle quarter, detection of quarter number, generation of shaft rotation value as difference between simultaneously generated arc-sine values of first and second signals taking into account quarter of each signal.
