FIELD: communication equipment. SUBSTANCE: method involves identification of each user which uses system services and connection to user according to his identification number in its location. Device provides direct access to users using their identification numbers without search of information about users. Functional communication networks are separated from control network in order to control information flows in different networks of information service software. User sets may include TV set, telephone, fax, computer, and so on, and single control unit which is designed as for accessing system in order to request services, information transmission with identification data and other system information. Information about each user is stored in memory units of different nodes (preferably, at second level) of control network. Communication address of memory unit which holds information about given user is detected from its identification number. EFFECT: possibility to operate in search mode, facilitated services, including simultaneous ones, connection to user location, absence of strict constraints on number of users, increased information access. 7 cl, 4 dwg
