FIELD: medicine; medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves acting with electromagnetic radiation of variable frequency upon the biologically active point area in invasive way. Frequency is measured that corresponds to maximum absorbed radiation power in the biologically active point by determining the frequency sought for from minimum value of standing voltage wave coefficient. The device has electromagnetic power supply source, discrimination device, wave guide tract, indication member, emitter. The electromagnetic power supply source has extremely high frequency oscillator, power supply source unit, control unit, saw-tooth voltage generator with controllable constant level of voltage. The emitter is wave guide line transformer sending signals into open line having conductor. The external conductor has its open end placed on the epicutaneous projection of the biologically active point. The opposite ends of the external and internal conductors are short circuited on extremely high frequency. The short circuit on extremely high frequency is carried out through structural low frequency filter.
