FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: cutting tool is provided with movable wedge. Part of joint on holder is made as projection in which wedge is positioned. Part of joint on working section is made as hollow engageable with projection. Wedge is intended for changing the projection width to provide for joint with hollow deprived of backlash. The wedge is designed to thrust upon contact surface of projection when tool holder is coupled to working section. Projection has bearing surface located opposite to the hollow and wedge on which lower surface positioned opposite to hollow is made.
