FIELD: methods of producing of protective layers on walls made from metal materials. SUBSTANCE: the offered method includes cleaning of wall surface, activation of surface and making it rough by its treatment with high-purity synthetic corundum, application to the surface of powders of metals, carbides, ceramics, silicides or their mixtures by the method of plasma spraying at room temperature and atmospheric conditions. Composition of powder material is selected so that tensile stress at room temperature in transition zone between coating and base is equal to 50- 800 N/sq.mm, and at working temperature, it should drop to zero or amounting to minimum value.
