FIELD: bridge building technology. SUBSTANCE: arch-type bridge has supports, arch resting on supports and made sectional over bridge length from shells which are installed close to each other and combined together. Each shell is made of interconnected blocks each of them being in the form of half-arch of variable cross-section in length which is increasing from ends of block towards its middle at relation of cross-sectional areas within intervals of (1-1.5):(1-3). Conjugated side surfaces of blocks over longitudinal joints of shells are combined by discrete welded or bolted joints by means of embedded metal components. Supports can be made as pile-type with frameworks located at level which corresponds to minimal possible height of earth fill which constitutes part of structure of arch-type filled bridge. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 cl, 2 dwg
