FIELD: oil and gas production industry. SUBSTANCE: this relates to ensuring explosion-safety in oil and gas production, and it makes possible to simplify explosion preventing procedure without interrupting processes of drilling, development or operation of well. Method implies displacement of flushing liquid from well by inert gas mixture compressed up to working pressure of delivery into well. Inert gas mixture is obtained by preliminary compression of atmospheric air and passing it under pressure through apparatus which retains oxygen and water vapors. Content of oxygen in produced inert gas mixture does not exceed minimal explosion-risky concentration. Apparatus which retains oxygen and water vapors is made up of several cyclic-operating adsorbers. Apparatus has at least four adsorbers which are successively engaged in operating modes of separate cycles of adsorption, preliminary regeneration by overflowing of gas remained in absorbers after completion of adsorption into adsorbers which completes regeneration mode, full regeneration by releasing excessive pressure of gas being desorbed into atmosphere and filling of desorber by overflowing of gas from adsorber being preliminarily regenerated. Cycles of adsorption, gas overflowing from one adsorber into another and of complete regeneration in respective adsorbers are performed simultaneously. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 4 cl, 4 dwg
