FIELD: probes for measuring concentration of oxygen in float baths intended for manufacture of glass. SUBSTANCE: probe has cylindrical case and instrument measuring emf, elongated cylindrical element closed by separate tip produced from stabilized zirconium dioxide that presents solid electrolyte through which ions of oxygen may pass. Cylindrical element is made from heat-resistant material differing from zirconium dioxide. Instrument measuring emf measures emf emerging between internal and external surfaces of tip at point where thermocouple is positioned in contact with internal surface of zirconium tip. Thermocouple measures temperature of tip which includes ring-shaped part that embraces end of cylindrical element with which tip is hermetically attached to elongated cylindrical element. Tip also has small recession of conical shape having vertex in end of tip made from zirconium dioxide distant from cylindrical part. Thermocouple is so placed that it contacts internal surface of tip close to its vertex. EFFECT: improved operational reliability of probe and accuracy of process. 14 cl, 2 deg;
