SUBSTANCE: number of turn-to-turn short-circuits is determined on operating electric machine with the aid of known methods and gears. Diminished rate of development of fault is provided by change of current of rotor or temperature of environment of winding of rotor so that quantitative characteristics of turn-to-turn short-circuits acquire minimal value.
