SUBSTANCE: proposed method involves measurement and variation of electrical machine operating parameters; measurement of diagnostic parameters of acoustic vibrations characterizing presence of vibration impact processes in structural parts of stator, measured value of diagnostic parameter of acoustic vibrations being used to recognize stator faults, if any; measurement of electrical machine temperature; evaluation of thermal state of stator core, and measurement of electrical machine operating parameters, as well as measurement of diagnostic parameters of acoustic vibrations at stator core temperature below rated value.
