FIELD: diagnosing electrical machines, primarily turboalternators and water-wheel generators.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes measurement of natural-vibration parameters on structural components of running electrical machine at frequencies possessing no multiplicity property with respect to frequencies of basic driving forces, and presence of these defects as well as their kind are recognized by these parameters. Measurements are conducted under different load conditions so as to enhance reliability of diagnostic results and identification of defects.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability of diagnosing vibroimpact defects in running-machine stator.
