FIELD: medicine; in particular, ophthalmosurgery. SUBSTANCE: preservative agent is injected into anterior chamber of cadaver's eye. Preservative agent is constituted by mixture of 96-% strong ethanol and ice-cold acetic acid taken in ratio 3: 1, followed by isolating, in the form of complex, eye's anterior segment consisting of cornea fringed with sclera, iris, ciliary body and eye's lens. Complex is replaced for 30-60 min into preservative agent having above-defined composition and subjected to separation to isolate iris which is then placed into 96-% strong ethanol for 24 h at temperature 2-4 C. Finally, iris is placed into 76-% strong ethanol in which it is stored up to realization. EFFECT: higher efficiency.
