FIELD: shipbuilding; designing of transport catamarans. SUBSTANCE: ship has lower hulls located in parallel and upper above-water hull connected with lower hulls by means of springs and power cylinders provided with pistons and rods. Lower hulls are underwater hulls provided with shafts of propellers; above-water hull is provided with brackets on which rollers are secured for free rotation and for centering power cylinders; besides that above-water hull is provided with attachment units for securing the cylinders to above-water hull; power cylinders are secured on lower under-water hulls so that their upper parts are free to enter above-water hull; lower underwater hulls are semioval in cross section; plating of double bottom is provided with air supply pipe union; bottoms of lower hulls are provided with holes for escape of air double bottom; these bottoms are also provided with boards lowered downwards. Rods may be secured on lower parts of power cylinders; these rods are free to pass through bottom portions of power cylinders to underwater hulls for transmission of motion to items of shipboard machinery connected with them, propeller shafts inclusive. It is good practice to mount above-water hull on fixed supports for conversion of wave energy. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 3 cl, 3 dwg
