FIELD: locking hardware. SUBSTANCE: lock has key. Marked on working part of key is key code in the form of coordinates of coding surface and/or coordinates of positioning poles of permanent magnets. Key code is equivalent to code of lock which is made in the form of coding grooves and is equal to coordinates of crossing of axial lines of slots and beginnings of axial lines of connecting sections. Lock mechanism has body which accommodates switch of lock mechanism modes of operation. Also provided are control shells which are installed movably, kinematically interconnected and can be kinematically connected with key. Control shells carry component for connection with operating device. Provided are coding grooves which are made up of slots and connecting sections. Control shells interact with coding groove through pins secured on them, spring-loaded rods which are installed in holder for possible straightline displacement and interaction with working part of key with the help of feelers or permanent magnets secured on them. Installed between holder and control shells stationary relative to holder are liners having slots for pins. Made in central holes of liners are protrusions which are corresponding in configuration to longitudinal slots made in working part of key. Working part of key also has lateral grooves and their width and depth correspond to positioning and thickness of liners and to length of protrusions. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 20 dwg
