FIELD: mechanical engineering; transmissions of transport facilities. SUBSTANCE: variable-speed drive includes mechanical part and hydraulic control. Mechanical part consists of input and output shafts located coaxially with drive and driven wheels rigidly secured on them, carrier and gear cluster; wheel with lesser number of teeth is used as drive wheel. Hydraulic control is formed by placing pair of engaged gear wheels in tight chamber filled with liquid. Low-pressure and high-pressure zones are connected by means of bypass passage with controllable throttle valve fitted on it. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 3 dwg
