FIELD: agriculture, in particular, equipment used in animal farms for anaerobic fermentation of manure, feces and various kinds of plant remains and production of organic fertilizers and biogas. SUBSTANCE: methane tank has reservoir 1 with inclined bottom 2 and dome 3, partition wall 6 attached to dome 3 and provided with flare portion 7 widening toward bottom 2 of reservoir 1. Annular convex baffle 8 is positioned below flare portion 7 so that baffle convexity is oriented to reservoir center. Inner diameter of baffle 8 is lesser than diameter of flare portion 7 to eliminate exit of biogas from inner fermentation chamber 5 into outer chamber 4. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and wider operational capabilities. 7 dwg
