METHANE TANK Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: municipal and industrial sewage water purifying equipment, may be used in animal and poultry farms, in constructions of biogas and biohumus plants used in rural localities.

SUBSTANCE: methane tank has reservoir casing of round, oval, square, rectangular or polygonal shape in plan, with side wall, bottom and cupola, and is further equipped with dividing concentric partition, which is secured to cupola so that it does not reach casing bottom. Partition has shape similar to reservoir in plan and is adapted for dividing reservoir upper part into outer and inner fermentation chambers. Methane tank has branch pipes for feeding wastes to outer chamber and branch pipes for discharging fermented mass from inner chamber, as well as branch pipes for discharging biogas from outer and inner chambers. Reservoir bottom is provided with partition conforming to bottom shape in plan. Upper outer part of said partition is adapted for embracing lower part of dividing concentric partition and dividing lower part of reservoir into outer and inner chambers, when said chambers are joined together to be integral with upper respective parts of outer and inner chambers of reservoir.

EFFECT: increased capacity in producing of combustible high-caloricity biogas, reduced amounts of organic sediments, and provision for producing of disinfected liquid and semi-liquid organic fertilizers.
