SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of synthesis of 2-alkyl-4-acyl-6-tert.-butylphenolic compounds of the chemical formula (I): $$$ where B - $$$-saturated nonsubstituted direct $$$-alkylene; Y means group taken from $$$ and -CH=C=$$$ and $$$ is taken from saturated linear or branched alkyl having 1-10 carbon atoms. Derivatives of 2-alkyl-4-acyl-6-tert.-butylphenol are synthesized in reaction mixture involving the corresponding 2-alkyl-6-tert.-butylphenol of the formula (II): $$$, corresponding carboxylic acid: Y-B-COOH and trifluoroacetic acid anhydride.
