FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: wood chopper has body, main cutting part with oval edges and handle receiving hole. Auxiliary chopping part with oval edge is positioned opposite to main cutting part. Handle-to-body fastening facility is made as wedge with acute-angle projections. Chopping efficiency is increased due to arrangement of chopped blocks vertically in the shape of cylinder formed by external blocks and due to chopping first on half by one chopper and then, when displaced over perimeter through quarter of circle, into four parts by means of double-blade section of wood chopper.
