FIELD: protection of surfaces of mechanism friction parts. SUBSTANCE: method includes deposition on base material of chromium coating by electrolytic method from chromium-containing solutions in the presence of catalyst. Additionally deposited on the produced first layer is chromium by thermal dissociation of chromium hexacarbonyl. Thickness of additional layer amounts to 5-15% of thickness of coating first layer.
