FIELD: measurement technologies. SUBSTANCE: meter is designed to measure deformations of structures of aircraft tested for strength under conditions of increased temperatures. It incorporates resilient backing made from plate of heat-resistant nonmetal material bent in the form of two-support arch. Two or four heat-resistant resistance strain gauges connected by circuit of measurement half-bridge or bridge are cemented on to external and internal surfaces of backing. Ends of resilient backing rest against attachment units installed in separable erection mount. Resilient backing can be manufactured from quartz glass or heat-resistant ceramics.
