FIELD: development of gyrocompasses and course indicators of analytical type. SUBSTANCE: second gyroscope is so mounted on object in advance that measurement axis of its second channel forms right orthogonal measurement trihedron together with measurement axes of first gyroscope. Thereupon voltage of standard resistance of second channel of second gyroscope is measured in process of gyrocompassing. Then value of true course of measurement axis of first channel of first gyroscope is found analytically with compensation of drifts of gyroscopes. EFFECT: ensured possibility of gyrocompassing with use of gyroscopic transmitter of angular velocity without limitations on inclination angles and on availability of information on position latitude. 3 dwg
