METHOD TO TREAT GASTRIC POLYPS Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: medicine, gastroenterology. SUBSTANCE: in case of adenomatous and hyperplastic polyps of IY type method deals with polyp electroexcision at endoscopy. Then by several injections 10000 International Units of leukinferon is introduced into submucosal gastric layer. The whole dose of preparation is distributed around a scab. Analogous injections are repeated in a day for 2-4 days. At adenomatous and hyperplastic polyps of IY and III types 10000 International Units of leukinferon is introduced into a polyp by several pricks. The dose is steadily distributed along the whole volume of neoplasm. Analogous injections are repeated in a day for 3-5 times per a course. In all cases local therapy is combined with injection of leukinferon into rectum as suppositories per 1 suppository which contains 40000 International Units of preparation in 1-3 days. There are 5-10 suppositories per a course. EFFECT: decreased traumaticity of interference, improved prophylaxis of relapses at endoscopic treatment of gastric polyps.
