FIELD: radiolocation. SUBSTANCE: given radiolocation system preventing collision of transport means is designed to detect obstacle ahead of movement of transport means and to provide for display of information on angular position and distance to obstacle ahead of transport means on screen that can be located on instrument panel. Space fore of transport means is irradiated in sector A-G by assemblage of radar devices based on solid elements with continuous irradiation installed in the capacity of antenna array transverse to part of transport means so that adjacent lobes of directivity pattern of each radar beam can be overlapped. Rectangular modulated radar signal of continuous radiation having duration $$$ with period T forms pulses which being reflected from obstacle within limits of corresponding sectors A-G are detected by mixer diodes of receiving channels incorporating transceiver antennas of parabolic of horn type, amplifier, comparator and logic gate. Gunn-effect diode and Schottky-barrier diode are connected to proper transceiver antenna. Distance to obstacle is determined by measured time delay.
