FIELD: optical instruments, in particular, horizontal telescopes. SUBSTANCE: device has optical unit which is mounted on support-rotating unit with orthogonal rotation axes. In addition support-rotating unit carries stationary racks in which first hollow shaft is mounted for rotation. Second hollow shaft which is mounted for rotation inside first hollow shaft carries rigidly attached optical unit. Hollow shafts have gear-less drives for rotation about said axes. Each drive is designed as moment electric motor which has rotor and stator. First recurrent reflection mirror, which is mounted inside first hollow shaft in intersection of sighting axes, is also located inside second hollow shaft which has cut for this goal. Second hollow shaft is mounted in bearings which are provided in opposite walls of housing of first shaft in order to provide loose end which extends outwards. Rotor of corresponding moment electric motor is connected to this end by means of split joint to provide cantilever. In addition stator of moment electric motor is connected through front neck cantilever to transmission member which is provided on housing of first shaft. Cable is passed through rotor of moment electric motor along its axis. One rack of support unit has transmission unit for another moment electric motor. First shaft is mounted on this rack to provide loose end for connection to rotor of moment electric motor with split joint to provide cantilever.
