FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has pressing roll 17, driving cleaning roll 14 and driven cleaning roll 15 biased to driving cleaning roll 14 by adjustable spring mechanism 16. Rolls 14 and 15 rotate in opposite directions at linear speed exceeding that of pressing roll 17 mounted for rotation in direction coinciding with that of driving cleaning roll 14. Construction of apparatus allows it to be used both for corn cob husk stripping during harvesting and for postharvest treatment of corn. EFFECT: increased efficiency in corn cob husk stripping, reduced dimensions and wider operational capabilities. 3 dwg
