FIELD: biotechnology, pharmaceutical technology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of preparing stevioside from leaves of plant Stevia rebaudiana B. Method involves double an aqueous extraction of milled dried leaves of plant at 50-60 C, extract filtration and purification of extract by column chromatography on inorganic sorbent ((Al2O3)) followed by concentrating and drying. Double an aqueous extraction promotes more complete extraction of diterpene glycosides from raw. EFFECT: simplified method, decreased cost of technological process.
