FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for spatial change of direction of hole shaft under rotor drilling. Hollow shaft of gear is composed of lower and upper sections placed at angle α between which coupling joining shaft sections is placed for axial movement. Outer surface of coupling has ring groove for interaction with stopping ring put on body. After installation of gear in hole in preset direction drilling fluid is fed, coupling moves downwards and stopping pin enters ring groove. In this case rotation is transmitted via shaft with coupling to drilling tool and body interacts with walls of hole by means of supporting members, does not change its position determining direction of drilling. For change of drilling direction feeding of drilling fluid is discontinued for time being, shaft is turned till groove of ring groove will be opposite to stopping ring. At this moment coupling moves upwards under action of spring, engages stopping pin and body turns together with shaft through specified angle. After this drilling fluid is fed again and drilling is performed in new direction. EFFECT: enhanced operational efficiency of gear. 2 cl, 2 dwg
