FIELD: welding production, namely, strengthening cutting edges of articles. SUBSTANCE: process comprises steps of preliminarily applying onto surface to be fused additive material in the form of wet sponge type band. Band is manufactured of waste material of roll bearing grinding operations by pressing depolarized particles in wet medium. Particles are depolarized in water that is drained after it until level no more than thickness of deposition layer. Deposited particles are pressed and remaining water is removed. Article is placed between electrodes and due to electric current pulses passing through it additive material is fused on. EFFECT: enhanced wearability of different type parts. 2 cl
