FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy and may be used as high-hardness phase in production and recovery of machine parts by surfacing and spraying, and as foundry alloy modifiers. Wastes of BK8 hard alloy are subjected to electroerosion dispersion in distilled water at electrode voltage of 100-160 V and pulse repetition rate of 140-660 Hz to produce powder particles and separate nanoparticles therefrom.
EFFECT: higher efficiency, controlled width and uniformity of sizes.
