FIELD: technical microbiology. SUBSTANCE: method involves hydration of acrylonitrile in an aqueous solution using Rhodococcus rhodochrous (strain M8 or M33). Process is carried out in reactors (volume is 1 000-5 000 l) at hydrodynamic stirring regime at Reinolds number Re = 104-105 and at uniform heat removal 18 kcal/mole. Temperature is maintained at the level 16-19 C at the following acrylonitrile feeding in reactor by time: 1st h - [(100-140) l] x V; 2nd h - [(70-95) l] x V; 3-d h - [(35-45) l] x V; 4th h - [(18-23) l] x V, and 5th h - [(18-23) l] x V where V x 103 - reactor volume, l. Method ensures to obtain 30-40-% solutions of acrylamide at minimal permissible impurity content. EFFECT: improved method of preparing. 1 dwg , 3 tbl
