FIELD: biotechnology. SUBSTANCE: portion of acrylonitrile is dissolved in tap or distilled water, pH 6.8-7.8 and then portion of biocatalyst that is the concentrated suspension of biomass of the strain Rhodococcus rhodochrous M8 or Rhodococcus rhodochrous M3 in water is added. Each the following portion of acrylonitrile is dissolved in reaction mixture after the complete or almost complete utilization of early added substrate in reaction. Then the next portion of biocatalyst is added. Process is carried out at continuous stirring and maintaining the reaction temperature at the range from 20 to 32 C. Reaction time is 4-6 h. Catalyst consumption as measured for the parent water volume is 0.25-0.51 g/l. After termination of process solutions containing acrylamide at concentration up to 330 g/l are obtained. EFFECT: simplified system of acrylonitrile feeding, controlled content of acrylonitrile in reaction mixture. 3 ex
