FIELD: biotechnology. SUBSTANCE: method is based on hydration of acrylonitrile in aqueous solution assisted by microorganisms with nitrilehydratase activity in cooled reactor at stirring. Biomass suspension involved is preliminarily prepared in cooled capacitive cylindrical vertical-type apparatus with conical bottom and gate stirrer, into which glass beads are loaded. Beads-to biomass volume ratio ranges from 0.5 to 2, linear stirring speed 1 to 5 m/s, and temperature 12 to 20 C. EFFECT: accelerated acrylonitrile-to-acrylamide biotransformation. 1 dwg, 2 tbl
