FIELD: biotechnology, biochemistry, microbiology. SUBSTANCE: the strain of bacterium Rhodococcus rubber GT shows rapid growth in simple organomineral medium and elicits high activity of nitrile hydratase, up to 330 mmole/ mg/min with acrylonitrile as a substrate. Nitrile hydratase from the strain Rhodococcus rubber Gt shows thermostabile property and used for biotechnologic synthesis of acrylamide by acrylonitrile hydration in aqueous solutions. Invention provides high activity of nitrile hydratase in the concentration range of prepared amide up to 50%. Invention can be used for synthesis of carboxylic acid amides from corresponding nitriles. EFFECT: valuable properties of strain, improved an enhanced preparing method. 3 tbl, 5 ex
