PLANT FOR CARBONIZATION OF SUGAR-BEARING SOLUTION Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: food production industry. SUBSTANCE: this plant is used in sugar production industry and is made up of cylindrical vessels which are interconnected to each other in middle part by pipeline. Vessels are provided with bottoms. One of vessels has pipe union for delivery of sugar-bearing solution to its lower part, and gas distributor located above bottom. Other vessel has pipe union for branching of carbonized solution and also gas distributor located above bottom. It is also provided with overflow box. Pipeline which connects cylindrical vessels has cone-shaped mouth installed along its axis inside vessel with pipe union for delivery of sugar-bearing solution. Upper edge of aforesaid cone-shaped mouth is located at level of solution overflow. Ratio of its diameter to diameter of vessel is 0.4-0.6. Discharge part of pipeline in vessel with pipe union for branching of saturated solution is located coaxially with it and is provided with water seal. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 dwg
