FIELD: sugar industry, in particular, equipment for lime treatment of sugar-containing solution. SUBSTANCE: defecator has cylindrical housing with conical bottom. Cylindrical housing is divided into upper and lower parts by conical partition wall. Juice turbulator is positioned in lower part of housing. Device for changing juice level has vertical tube and float and is positioned within housing. Upper and lower parts of housing are communicated through vertical tube and float of mentioned device. Float has annular cavity and is positioned at upper end of tube for axial movement. Air supplying branch pipe is placed within float. Housing has juice supply and discharge branch pipes. Juice supply branch pipe is tangentially attached to housing. Such construction allows juice circulation to be realized in replacement and mixing mode. EFFECT: simplified construction of juice level changing device, provision for continuously variable time of juice treatment and increased efficiency. 2 cl, 4 dwg
